i believe in santa claus, is that any more ridiculous than believing in god? neither of them have been proven to exist, so why is believing in santa clause and garden faeries any more rediculous than believing in god? nice picture.

To me Santa Claus isn't a person, he's the cheer that children have at Christmas, the excitement and happiness that the presents bring...

I guess it's something that once you leave behind in childhood you don't get that much until you're a parent. But I still love to see the look on relatives and friends faces when I get them a present they really like. That's the best bit of Christmas and birthdays to me, making other people happy... I don't like my birthday, don't like a fuss being made of me. But I do like making people happy (like the magical man, from happy land, who lives in a gumdrop house down Lollypop Lane!).

Anyway, thanks I guess it was me who ranted and it had nothing to do with the picture, hehe... ah well.
